Cranfield Aviation Training is a leading Aviation Training School in South Africa, registered and accredited with the South African Civil Aviation Authority. Cranfield is a registered (Pty) Ltd company with two shareholders; Mrs AC Tebbit and Mrs DC Ward. The company commenced business in 1999 after accreditation by the SACAA to provide a variety of aviation related training programs.

Cranfield Aviation employs 6 Administrative staff members and 22 Instructors and Designated Examiners. Cranfield conducts training for a variety of Operators and provides independent training of a world class standard on the African continent.

- To provide innovative and effective training in aviation related subjects in the effort to promote safe and efficient flight operations.
- More specifically, to provide training to existing flight crewmembers which will equal or exceed international standards.
- To encourage and promote South Africa as a recognized base for aviation training in the Southern Hemisphere.
