    The aim of this course is to ensure that Helicopter pilots have the required knowledge on how to prepare for an emergency landing on water, are aware of the floatation devices on-board various helicopters and are aware of the survival essentials at sea, both with or without a life raft, as well as example HERDS procedures for rescue helicopters.

    Important Note: This course covers the theoretical component of Helicopter Ditching Training only. Some Operators and Civil Aviation Authorities require crew to complete a practical component, usually involving HUET training.
