This FDM training program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the elements of a Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) or Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) system and is based on the ICAO Document 10000.

FDM programs monitor the action of an aircraft during flight and this is typically achieved with data acquisition and storage hardware and post flight data analysis software. The data generated from FDM/FOQA is generally used to improve operational efficiency and safety and reduce maintenance costs.
